Are you a BCBA looking for the ultimate freedom and flexibility with your schedule? Lighthouse Therapy is seeking dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analysts to support California school districts for the 2026–2027 school year.

What You Will Need (Requirements)Minimum Qualifications

Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.

Previous experience providing behavior analysis services in an educational/school setting.

Strong ability to build rapport with students in a virtual environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A positive, patient, and collaborative demeanor.

(California Only): A current negative TB test completed within the past four years.

Technical & Space Requirements

Reliable, high-speed internet access.

A dedicated computer equipped with a webcam.

A quiet, private, and professional workspace for sessions.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience specifically working within school systems.

Caseload & Time Commitment

This opening is ideal for clinicians who want total control over their time and prefer a manageable, flexible caseload.

The Baseline: We ask for a commitment to support a minimum of 15 hours per week.

You Are in Control: If you agree to the 15 hour minimum, you are never obligated to take on more. You decide your upper limit.

At Lighthouse Therapy, we require a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week

A baseline caseload of 15 hours 

We work on a 70/30 model. 70% direct, 30% indirect

Note: If a student requires 30 minutes twice a week, they count as 2 students.

Please Note: Caseloads build gradually. While we ask for a 15 hour commitment to ensure strong school integration and therapist retention, referrals can take several weeks to ramp up at the start of the school year.
