Key Responsibilities

  • Virtual Support: Conduct all sessions via a secure, HIPAA/FERPA-compliant video conferencing platform, ensuring a safe and non-judgmental digital environment.

  • Collaboration: Briefly consult with in-building school counselors, administrators, and parents/guardians to coordinate care, share progress, or recommend external intensive treatment if necessary.

  • Documentation: Maintain strict, confidential, and timely documentation of student sessions in compliance school district policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Licensure: Active Wyoming State License.

  • Specialized Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling.

  • Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams) and electronic record-keeping. Must have a private, secure internet connection and workspace.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build trust with adolescents in a digital format.
