Special Education Teacher 26-27 School Year-CA Certified-Full Caseload

Lighthouse Therapy LLC is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher in a California school for the 26-27 school year. This role focuses on small-group instruction and individualized support for students with IEPs, helping them succeed in the least restrictive environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction aligned to IEP goals in reading, math, behavior, and executive functioning

Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion

Conduct IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring

Full caseload, M-F full days, caseload= about 28 students. 

 38.5 hours/week, 180 school days with students.  

Mild/Mod. mostly.  Secondary school ages.  

 Experience using SEIS Tracker.  

Attend monthly check ins with the school sped team

Requirements:

Valid California Teaching Certificate with appropriate special education endorsement

Experience writing and implementing IEPs and BIPs

Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
